Maur Charat Singh (Chadat Singh Maur) is a village 2 km from Maur Mandi town, in Bathinda district in Punjab state of India. It is a small village having one Gurdwara and one Dera. Most people belong to the Jatt Sikh community with Maan surname. Some Sidhu and Bhullar homes are also there. Mazhabi Sikhs and Ravidasiye Sikhs also reside there. This village was founded by Baba Chadat Singh, who came here from the village Maur near Barnala around 1865. Agriculture is the main occupation of its people. Bharti Kissan Union (Ugrahan) are active in the village, and Harjinder Singh Baggi from this village is block president of Bharti Kissan Union (Ugrahan). Village had a very good cricket team. But due to the lack of a sports stadium, few of the younger residents are active in sports.
